when we found out we were pregnant my husband and I agreed that we would keep it a secret.  today was the day we announced it to our families.   when we announced it I could tell his family was faking.  they then told me they have known for over 3 weeks.   so infant of everyone I had to hide how upset I am.  the only person that was surprised was my mom because she was the only one in the whole room that didn't know I was pregnant.   I am so pissed off I don't even know what to do.                                   please note I have been off and on excited about this pregnancy. Today I was finally excited to tell everyone and see the excitement on their faces and it was ruined.

I am so hurt I couldn't even look at my husband for the rest of the day.  I took a video to get everyone reaction.  I watched it later. His whole family had no reaction other than fake smiles. his mom pretended to play it off.  while my mom was balling her eyes out completely shocked (and freaking out because my sister is due 8 days before me)      what I think made it all worse was that his family decided to talk about when my husband told them and how I really shouldn't be upset at him.  they basically made the whole thing into a huge joke.  Then went on to say how big my ass has gotten and how my hips look big.         when my mom told my dad his only words to her was I hope their marriage will survive.   today was supposed to be a great day and it ended up being a disaster and it was my daughter's 4th birthday party.

Ok it's difficult for an outsider to have a valid opinion about your marriage since we are only getting a sliver of the full dynamic.  However, my opinion is that you are dwelling on all the wrong things.  Maybe your husband was super excited and he couldn't hold it in.  Or maybe he's a total ass who doesn't care about your feelings.  Only you can decide that.  But if you are having a child with this man, and have a 4 year old already, you need to stop trying to control everything and just embrace your relationship.  If you want to stay married I definitely don't think trying to keep the sex from him and being furious with him is healthy for you, your baby or the future of your marriage.  I don't even know what to say about his family's comments.  I hope you can find a way to find the positives in your marriage.  You are having a child.  Announcements won't matter but your baby having a father and living with both parents will.  Breathe and find the love again.  just an outsiders thoughts.

My husband spilled the beans to his dad at 7 weeks and I'm still mad when I think about it. It's important to be on the same page because you only announce once. It leaves everyone who didn't know first feeling let down.

we're telling our families on thanksgiving and my husband has already told his dad and grandpa.. and I know if his grandma found out she will put it all over Facebook it stresses me out

I'd be mad. we are keeping it a secret, hopefully, until Christmas, but I've told my sister, his sister, and our one close couple friends. so six people know.
but I also asked him, and told him that they know, so he's in the loop. Your hubby definitely should have asked, or told you it slipped out by accident.

his family said they have only known about the pregnancy for 2 weeks.  Some found out at 6 weeks. I'm now 11. he has been lying and swearing on our daughter and this unborn child that he didn't tell anyone.... he did this up until 2 days ago when I was crying because I just knew his whole family knew and how it was going to ruin the surprise.
