Looking for input

If I could get some input, most of you will say I’m dumb, and need to move on. But I still have faith, and I think he does too.

My bc moves two weeks ago, he moved out a week later, he’s staying with a friend. He didn’t talk to me for three days. He came and got the rest of his stuff Wednesday. Told me he was done, and he gave into me asking for one last kiss. Anyway as soon as he left he texts me asking if I still have faith in us? And I responded with yes I do, why? He responded with just wanted to see where your thoughts were. And I pour my heart out no response. But then he texts me goodnight, responds to my texts! I had asked him if he wanted company to brunch tomorrow he said sounds good, we’ve been making small talk the past three days. He’s been voluntarily telling me what he’s been doing. Idk what he is thinking or what is going to happen. It seems like he wants to give our relationship another shot but then he backs off..anyone have any insight?
