Humidifier??

I’m not really sure what’s so important about a humidifier for a baby? Maybe I’m just out of the loop if it’s benefits? I understand the concept of what it does, but why is it a “necessity” these days?

Babies have lots of boogers an amniotic fluid still in their nasal cavities and especially in the winter with the heat I️t can get dry. We keep ours on all the time.

I'm not getting one. Our house already has a humidity problem so a humidifier is going to make mold have an easier time growing...
