Do you feel most people are trustworthy?

I’m currently in the process of looking for a seasonal job. Most of the jobs that I have applied for have been through an online process and have that section of assessment questions. The “there is no right or wrong answer” type of questions that ask if you agree, disagree, etc. All of them have had a few questions in particular that I hate answering...

Questions like:

-I believe most people can be trusted.. Agree or Disagree?

-I think that most people will almost always do the right thing, even when nobody is watching..Agree or disagree?

Mostly the questions that have to do with how I view people in general-their characters, morals, etc. They say there is no right or wrong answer but I always feel they are reaching/wanting a certain answer anyway. I always feel like crap about myself when I answer these questions because.. NO, I do not think most people are honest or trustworthy. I do not think that most people will always do what is right-especially when they know that nobody is watching. I guess I have trust issues maybe 🤷🏻‍♀️

But I’m curious how others think... Do you think most people are trustworthy? Do you think most people are genuinely good and will mostly always do the right things?
