What to expect at second OBGYN apt?

I have my second apt tomorrow. I’m 13+2.  The first appointment they just went over medical history and all, used a Doppler to get a heart rate, and did a Pap smear.  What should I expect at appointments going forward? I always imaged going in every 4 weeks and having an ultrasound and that’s it 😂 I’m not even sure I’ll have an ultrasound tomorrow as I just had one last Friday for NT.

Should be pretty easy. Most appointments (2nd and beyond) you'll just be weighed, have your fundal height measured, pee in a cup, and have baby checked with the fetal Doppler. Pretty quick stuff.

At the office I go to, you get weighed, you have to pee in a cup, they take your BP, use the Doppler to find baby’s heartbeat and then talk about any issues you might be having or go over questions.
Pretty easy peasy.  You probably won’t have another US until the anatomy scan unless they can’t find the heartbeat with the Doppler....usually by 13 weeks they find the HB with the Doppler easily.

My OB "in between" appointments are basically a discussion about any concerns (aches/pains/ what's normal) and listening to the baby's heart rate with the Doppler. They may feel your belly for fundal height (uterus measurement) but they may not measure yet since its early. It will be pretty uneventful but it will be a good time to communicate any questions!

It depends on when your first vist was. This visit my OB discussed any new concerns or questions I had, and we discussed the genetic blood tests and decided which ones I wanted done. We also began discussing a little bit more in depth my treatment plan, but that's because I am high risk after developing complications pretty early on with my first. For the most part it is short, simple, check up type visit.
