Sore/tender belly button?

Question

Hi everyone, I am nearly 26 weeks and these past few days have had pain around my belly button, almost like a bruise.  Anyone else have this and have suggestions for relief?  Internet research suggests it might be an umbilical hernia, but there’s not a lot of info on how to minimize the pain/discomfort.  Really appreciate your help Ladies!

Yes! I️ had this at 19 weeks and was totally freaked! Did a quick google search and saw it wasn’t uncommon and would fix itself and everything was fine. Felt completely better a week later.

I've had this just to the right of my belly button. Odd way to describe it but it's almost like I've run into the end of a broom handle!? A deep bruise and tender skin. Midwife said it's likely to be a pulled ligament and not to be too concerned. It gets worse when I'm on my feet a long time and eases when I lay back. When I feel it getting sore now I know to stop for a cup of tea and a rest before it gets bad. Has helped manage it recently.

I had the pain and tenderness. When I talked to my obgyn he explained the belly button is the thinnest skin on you so it's very common. Just moisturize, and try to be gentle :/
