Spit blood after brushing teeth?

I sometimes spit blood after brushing my teeth and am wondering if this is cause for concern?

Happens every time to me too. Doc said I have too much blood in my gums and has to empty it when I go to the dentist. 😭 It's gross. but they do have a mouthwash at the dentist to help that!

You’re brushing too hard which is causing your gums to bleed. Either buy a softer toothbrush or be more gentle when brushing. That should sort the problem 😁

Sometimes the bristles scratch your gums, so nothing to worry about. But, if it happens almost every time you brush your teeth or blood in excessive amounts, I’d say go to a doctor/dentist.
