When should i get my period

Okay so i just started the pill and now I’m on the 5th day of the placebo pills, but i still haven’t started my period. Is that bad or normal?? I started the pill on the first day of my last period, and had sex without a condom on the 9th pill and he pulled out. Is it weird that i haven’t started my period

Read the insert included in your medicine (always read the pharmaceutical insert of any medicine it's super important for your health and awareness!)- it should say how long you are suppose to take the pill with back up birth control before the pill is effective. Typically it's 7 days before the pill is effective, so based on that I would say you're fine. ALSO your period will usually be different in the first 3 months as your body adjusts to new hormonal regulation. I took about 4 months before my period lined up perfectly with the sugar pill week. Just keep taking the pills as scheduled, even if your period shows up like the last day of the sugar pills. It's important to stay with the patterned cycle, eventually your body will adjust!
