baby fever with iud

my youngest is 13 months old and I have had a skyla IUD since he was born I want to get pregnant so bad now but I'm terrified of having my IUD removed. every month my boyfriend gets super excited pointing out all the way I act pregnant.

also my period (even with the IUD) hasn't ever changed. its always around the first week of every month always lasts 6-7 days and always medium to heavy flow. but for the last 2 months my flow has been start and stop and start again. ranging from spotting to extremely heavy. sometimes I will stop bleeding altogether for a day or 2 then start again. is this normal?
