So I’m in the room waiting for the OB, YouTube is on for my son and he’s entertained and this bitch walks in, mid to upper 60s, asking “so why are you even here?” Since she saw my file and I told her uhmmmm I’ve been finding 2 heart beats consistently since 9 weeks and she’s like giving me the whole oh it’s probably yours speech 😒 so I said well I called to get advice from the nurses about what I’m hearing and they weren’t helpful and scheduled an appointment instead and she looked shocked and like rolled her eyes and was like “well let’s take a look then since the scan clearly showed one baby, and it was a really good picture, but we’ll listen” then she finds the heart beat and is like “yep. One baby.” Then asks where I’m hearing two and I told her so she starts DIGGING THE DOPPLER INTO ME TO WHERE IM JUMPING IN PAIN. And then it’s back to the sass of yes one baby only. She asked how old my son was and I told her 15mo then looks back to me and says, I shit you not, “well then, was this pregnancy planned?” 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱 Safe to say I left the appointment crying and I’m NEVER going back to that base for care. Every experience with them has been awful leaving me humiliated or made to feel like I’m stupid (dating scan with them said I’d need a c section because son was big baby even though I pushed all 10lbs out myself 🤦🏻‍♀️ when I started to disagree they made me feel so dumb about standing up for myself). Honestly still in shock somebody said that to my face.
