made my own hair mask. NEED TO SHARE THIS!!

Kenzie

so 2 weeks ago I decided to make my own hair mask, the fall weather had really dried out my hair and has made it frizzy/dull looking. after hours on Google looking up the best home made mask mixes, I decide to go with one of the simplest. Eggs. Well, eggs, milk and olive oil. Sounds strange. yeah. was it gross? most certainly. but did it work. HOLY S**T, YES! I HAVE NEVER USED ANYTHING THIS GOOD BEFORE! I have done it 3 times now and with every hair treatment it gets better and better. My hair color is so much brighter, and evenly toned. The frizz is next to gone and my hair is soooo soft. I literally have hardly been able to keep my hands out of it. Even the split ends are gone! It sounds a little weird but they were literally falling off. Instead of just splitting further up the hair, they fell off where they were at and I can hardly find any now. Even the little white specs and the ends of my hair that used to look like fuzz from sweater or something, caused by split ends, are gone! Also, I had dyed my hair black about 3 weeks prior to the hair treatment, and it's been lifting the color out. which I wanted because the black didn't take right.

so it looked bad..haha.

I honestly would recommend trying this to everyone.

top 2 pictures are pre-treatment on day one.

today. why my hair looks black in the sun and Burnette inside I have no idea, but my hair is naturally Burnette.

I made my hair mask by mixing 2 eggs, a half cup of milk and a table spoon of olive oil. For longer or thicker hair you may need to add more eggs and milk. I'm about to start using 3 eggs, 3/4 cup of milk. I read that for naturally greasy hair you may want to use egg whites only, but there were people who said it also didn't matter and used the entire egg anyway. that'll be up to you. I used the entire eggs, but my hair is not greasy naturally. For girls with very thick hair, you may want to use only a small amount of olive oil because it can cause greasy hair, and to much is hard to wash out. You can also use some plain yogurt instead of milk, but for some people that can cause greasy hair and skin, so if you chose to use yogurt be careful.

After applying the mix to your hair just let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes. WARNING; it's very runny. so be sure to wrap that dome and wear a towel over your shoulders. you can also wear a warm towel over your head while it soaks in your hair. afterwards just rise it out. you can shampoo and condition as normal afterwards, especially if you don't like the smell.

you can add more ingredients to this mix, such as honey, almond oil or Cocoanut oil, or you can even use straight eggs and it will still be very good for your hair. Best of luck to you all:)
