our daughter has used sippy cups since 6 months, we tried over 20 different brands. she liked her first one by MAM, but then she stopped liking it. I have tried over 20 cups. including some VERY hard to suck out of straws. 2 days ago, at Burlington, I found the one pictured below, by OXO. it holds 6 oz, it's small, has handles and the best part- any baby can suck out the straw. I tried it myself and it's super easy to suck out. it gives a good amount, but not enough to choke on. our daughter has instantaneously fell in love with it. she uses all the time now. she drinks from it at all solid feedings and snacks. and she drinks from it in her playpen. it does not spill or drip. I absolutely love it. and it's super easy to clean. cup was 5 bucks, at Burlington, but I'm sure amazon has it too.
