Ugh... yeast infections

So my new guy and I️ have off schedules so when we do see each other, there is A LOT of sexy time. I️ thought I️ was having some sort of reaction to the fact we do have to use a significant amount of lube as bc is causing me some dryness and he is pretty big. I️ now think it is a yeast infection... fml. I️ inserted the Monistat 1 day yesterday and have a ton of discharge, but am also waiting on my period to start. Does anyone have any tips on getting over this quickly? I’m eating yogurt and avoiding sugars and alcohol and starches. I️ feel like I️ want to scoop all of that weird discharge out when I’m in the shower, but I️ probably shouldn’t do that with everything repairing itself, right? Thanks for any suggestions or help!
