Painting?

Are you allowed to paint while pregnant? If so is there is certain kind of paint I should use? I figured it was fine as long as I had the windows open and wore a mask. But I’ve read both yes and no?

I've painted 2 rooms since I've been pregnant and my baby is perfectly healthy. My doctor said it was fine as long as the area was well ventilated and I also used a mask.

I started painting the nursery this weeked with Valspar VOC free paint. I found trimming was fine (mask on, windows open and fan blowing out window). But when it came to rolling I found the smell got stronger so I enlisted my BF to do that part 😂

You’re 100% fine. I just painted. As long as it’s low odor and it’s a latex based and not oil based. The oil based paint is NOT good

I'm painting the nursery this weekend. But I'm wearing a mask, opening the windows, and buying low voc paint from lowes.
