Izzy a nickname for Isla?

I know it doesn't need a nickname, but we like nicknames and we're trying to come up with one.

My daughters name is Mihayla and got the nickname May May somehow.. Doesn't really go with her name but she likes it and it's stuck as a nickname family call her.

We're naming our little girl Isla and her nickname is Izzy. We figured since some of our family call her "is-luh" a Spanish pronunciation, and some call her "I-luh " izzy would be a perfect nickname!

Isla is pronounced 'eye-luh' so izzy wouldn't really work unless you were going to pronounce is 'iz-luh'
