Please help! How should I take care of this cut? (Pic with blood)

Sooooooo I accidentally cut my ankle on glass this morning, like two hours ago. I know it’s a small cut but it’s deeper than any cut I’ve had before. Is there any special way I should take care of it? Or should I just get a new band aid?

(Id usually just ask my mom, but I’m 6 hours ahead of her right now so she is sleeping!)

I have a cut like that I got a year ago from glass and it healed great. Hydrogen peroxide (clean it 2-4 times a day) and replace the bandaid EVERY time. Putting a dirty bandaid back on will keep bacteria inside.

Disinfect the wound and apply ressure to help stop the bleeding & then put on n new bandaid. Maybe give your mum a call when she is awake. Goodluck hun 🙏❤

that might need a stitch.  keep it clean with salt water.it looks quite deep.
