Waiting to find out gender until birth?

Is anyone else waiting to find out the gender until the baby’s born? Why did you decide to wait? Are you happy with your decision?

We waited for our first and will wait with this pregnancy. The surprise at the end was amazing. No one can be disappointed when you're holding a new baby. I personally hate pink so it helped combat my sil's need to make everything for girls pink. Buying gender neutral is kinder to the environment because everything can be used with the next baby. It also helps avoid gender roles being applied before baby is even born.

yup..We r waiting until birth of baby .. even though we wish to find it out early, it's a criminal offence in india.. so waiting 😊

We waited to find out with our first and we’re waiting to find out with this one too! We love the surprise - it’s the only real surprise you get in life. I love that after I had the baby, my husband got to announce to me (and the room full of nurses because they all wanted to know) the gender. I also found it saved us a lot of money because I didn’t make a bunch of impulse buys of clothing and stuff while I was pregnant. At showers, people mostly gave us equipment and practical gifts instead of just clothes. Most of our equipment are neutral colors which means they’ll work for any future babies! It’s so fun not knowing!

This is our first & we'll find out on the big day!  
We're not fussed whether we have a boy or a girl, & there are so few surprises left in life these days, so it just makes sense to us to wait 😸

I'm on my third pregnancy and we have never found out and won't again this time ;)  absolutely worth the wait. TBH I just always liked the idea. I had to convince my hubby with #1 but after that he absolutely doesn't want to know until birth either. We love it! We have a son and a daughter, and are now pregnant with twins. I also think its fun to see what people guess and do all the wives tales etc and everyone is so surprised when the baby is here no matter what! It's fun.

I wish I could, but my husband is an ultrasound tech so he will know when he looks at the sonograms lol.  I don’t want relatives to flood us with gendered clothing and stuff, which is why I’d rather not know.  We won’t be telling anyone else.

we found out with our first but I don't want to find out with my second. my husband wants to know but doesn't want to keep it to himself. so the compromise is that he will find out during an ultrasound and then will throw a gender reveal party for me.

We are on baby #4 first three pregnancies we found out the gender before birth. We have two girls and one boy.... with this being our last pregnancy and concerning we already have both genders we are keeping this baby a surprise until birth.

We waited for our first. I had a feeling it was a boy and it was. I think I want to find out this time. It was really hard to wait but it was exiting to be surprised.
