Over 40s pregnancies?

Question

Can I call on anyone who’s had or having a baby mid 40s? Everyone on here seems to be younger - correct me if I’m wrong but would love to hear experiences, support and advice. Possibly to know there’s still a chance to defy doctors and people saying I’m too old for another 😡

I’m TTC #1 at 42. My 43 yr old cousin just had her fourth. A classmate at 42 just had her 2nd. Another had her fourth at 42. One had her 5th over 40. A physician I work for had her 3rd at 40. My obgyn just delivered for a 46 yr old two months ago. We’re still in the game!

I’m 43, We are 32weeks.  Had mc in 2015 and was unable to conceive.  Via reproductive dr., Tried a few rounds of clomid, stopped and decided not to try any more.  Didn’t see any reason for bc and found ourselves pregnant in may!  It is possible.

My mate is 43 had a healthy boy 6:00 this am in Australia afternoon for her though! Made me realise I want another but time is ticking bugger the nay sayers baby dust especially to all us “too old” ttc ❤️ may we all achieve and conceive!!

I had my first at 35 and my second at 44. First one after only 4 months ttc, second one took 18 months - but worth the wait. It is possible, id just say try not to stress yourself out about ttc, especially if it takes longer than expected xx

I had my son at 43. I got pregnant naturally and it was after a tubal reversal. The pregnancy was good, no complications. 10 days before my due date I had to have a c section because of preclampsia and placenta previa. I am 46 and I am praying that next week when I take a test I will see 2 pink lines. I keep having dreams of taking a hpt and they are positive. Blessings to all ttc!

Thanks for all the comments ladies - I have never had a problem getting pregnant in the past and had my last boy at 40 - best pregnancy ever. I have developed a fibroid since then but doctors assure me it’s in  position that won’t affect pregnancy?? I’ve found it odd I haven’t fallen pregnant as haven’t used contraception for years since my last??? What tests do I take to see if I’m actually releasing fertile eggs still???

I had my ds at 42 (wasn't trying and was shocked)... concieved ntnp at 46 very first month but mc at 11w5d. been ttc ever since! fx and baby dust to you!
