ever since my husband and I both decided to start trying family members have reacted negatively?  we are well on our own and can afford it and put a lot of thought into it

I never told anyone. I didn’t wanna deal with the judgement and questions.

My husband and I️ haven’t told anyone we’re TTC for that reason. We don’t want anyone’s negative opinions because it’s inevitable, as soon as you say you’re trying to have kids suddenly it’s “are you sure that’s a good idea? Are you guys really ready to be parents?” But every other family holiday before that its “when are you guys gonna settle down and start a family?!” 🙄
