5 week bleeding and cramps

Hi I'm roughly round 5 weeks preg.. last 2 days had strong cramps and today started with brownish spotting.. went for a scan and bloods which said they can see a sac and egg yolk no baby yet.. might be earlier than I think.. but cramps still there and it's now pinkish when I wipe.. is this a miscarriage starting
