My last active pill day on birth control was October 13, with my period starting as usual on the 15th. My husband and I decided we’d still be marginally careful as I learn my body’s natural cycle. When I thought I was in the clear, we had sex, and lo and behold egg white cervical mucus showed up the next day.

I’m now on day 33 since my last period and have no symptoms that it’s on its way. I honestly don’t remember how long my cycles were before 10 years on the pill.

How long would you wait to take a test? I’m going to my ObGyn in a couple weeks anyway to talk genetic testing.
