YES. When I was raped I was afraid for my life and I completely froze, I didn't fight back. I said no and stop repeatedly before it happened. I mentally just excepted that this is what's happening to me and theres nothing I can do in this moment to stop it, it was awful and I wish everyday I had fought back, but I know now that I can't blame myself and that what happened to me was not my choice, I didn't ask for it.  You can not control how you react in a situation like that. For the longest time I was in such a grey area and couldn't except what happened to me because I didn't want to be a victim. It bit me in the ass later when I finally began to mentally process it and then I had to relive it all over but understanding what happened and see it for what it was has helped me be able to talk about it and heal.
