How soon does everyone start taking Pregnancy tests?

My husband and I have been trying to Conceive for exactly 2 years now! I normally just wait for my period. But I feel like somethings different this time for some reason! So I was just wondering when all of you start testing. I ovulated on the 10th of this month according to this app! So I’m 6dpo now. Is that’s still too earlier?

6dpo is too early when I was trying for 5 years I wait until my period was 4days late before testing. But I test with opks during the tww and all my opks were positive from 10 dpo all the way until i take an hpt.

At 6dpo your egg (if fertilized) is still making its way out your tubes. Then it has to implant (7-8dpo)then HCG begins to double... I'd at least wait 12dpo before testing (2days prior AF)

I started at 9dpo, yesterdays test on 14dpo is still negative, was supposed to start period yesterday
