So, I started the mother of all periods in the middle of a gruelling, 8-hour, opening shift ... NINE DAYS EARLY! 😡

I was in pain, bleeding like I’ve never bled onto a borrowed pad (by a brand I HATE using). I was bloating out of my jeans and a male coworker actually asked “what’s wrong with you?”

Ladies, take care of your bodies during your period! I know money is tight for all of us, but fine something. A face mask is $2-5 dollars at Target or Walgreens. Take care of yourself and treat yourself because it’s not “just a period”. Your body is doing something major, and you’re handling it like a fucking boss. You deserve a little treat!
