Wearing a tampon to bed

I’m staying with my dad for the night because my mom is out of town and I only brought liners to sleep in because I’m on birth control and my periods are usually super light, but it just picked up a lot and there’s no way I could only wear a liner. I usually go to bed at 10 and get up at 6. Could I wear a tampon to bed just for tonight?
