Annoying Neighbor

Sorry long lost ....

My husband and I have this friend who lives two houses down. He is always looking to come over and hang out. Way too much. He's one of those friends that you don't mind seeing once a while. He's a bit loud and a bit obnoxious but overall friendly.

My husband and I are fairly antisocial people. We've often said that when it comes down to it, our daughter and eCh other is all we ever need in our lives. Other people are just a chore.

This friend usually only comes over after work at like 10 ish. My husband gets off work then too and when he comes over they'll usually smoke in the garage together and not bother me. (Usually in trying to get baby asleep by then) but he's always asking to see and play with our daughter. It's annoying because it i terfers with her bedtime routine.

We would tell him to just leave us alone but he doesn't have any other friends. Like at all. He's also very lonely and depressed. Also, if we are too mean it'll be awkward becUse he lives so near. Right now he's lost his phone or broken it so his only way of contacting us is through my messenger. It's really annoying.

What do we do?
