Does everyone know paint colors need to be mixed at store?

Hubby flipped out on me for not explaining that the paint color I picked out would not be sitting on a shelf in store and he’d need to have it mixed.  We painted half the room already, he just said hmm they must be out...and bought white paint instead and left.  Flipped out again when I told him he needs to go back and get it mixed.
How was he supposed to know that he has to speak with someone and have the color mixed?????

You ladies are all so rude 🙄 he’s not an idiot and not all paints have to be mixed. We’ve bought paint right off the shelf many times. Unless you tell him it’s a special mixed paint color, how would he know that? Geez. Give guys a little more credit.

I feel like it's your fault, of course people are aware you CAN mix colors but maybe he didn't realize the color you guys had was mixed. just specify instead of making your husband seem like he's slow
