I have gone through many rounds of IVF so I feel like I know my ovaries like the back of my hand haha I've seen these ultrasounds probably 50+ times

If that's your ovary, then it's just showing the multiple follicles you have. Are you doing fertility treatments, or do you have pcos? One (sometimes two) of those follicles will grow large, if you are just trying to conceive naturally, and that is the egg that will be released during ovulation.

at first I wasn't even sure if that was an egg, that's how new I am to this. I got the ultrasound not for fertility reasons but for something else we just happen to be ttc and it gives me a look at the inside only I'm not sure what I'm looking at

she called it multiple follicles but I didn't understand what that meant she was saying it was a large follicle and told the lil woman she was training it was a multiple but her comment didn't register until I left & was thinking about all that had been said
