Doc said 80% girl.. so can I expect a girl for sure?

Today for my17 weeks 4 days ultrasound Doc said 80% looks like a girl.. so can I expect a girl for sure? did anyone experience the same???

Well 80% is not “for sure”. So I would say no and wait for the anatomy scan

They gave us an 80% guess of girls at our 16 week scan. Confirmed girls without a doubt 3 weeks later at the anatomy scan.

I was told 60% girl and 40% boy at 13+5. Went for an early gender ultrasound at 15+4 and was told a girl!

I was 15 weeks 6 days when told gender of my baby with 100% chance of it being a girl!

Update: Had my anatomy scan today and doctor said she is 100% sure its a girl.. I am soooooo happy.. I have a boy 20 months old so this lil baby completes our family.

I was told pretty sure it's a girl at 15weeks but tech said next ultrasound which is anatomy scan would know for sure. I hope we get what we want!!

I was 17wks and my doc told me she was 75% sure it was a girl, 3wks later it was a girl! I just wouldn’t go out and start buying anything just yet until you get the confirmation 😊
