so guys i am due mid December, I am living in Jamaica and don't have any of the luxuries that you guys have. No one is allowed in the delivery room with you only a midwife who will be assisting u and may 2-3 other moms at the same time, No epidural is available here ( birth is 100% natural), No birth aids are allowed such as birthing balls ect. No warm water shower ( just regular tap water) the hospital where I am booked for don't allow food from relatives just juice or fruit, the food is horrible. you have to have every for your own comfort including inco pads on the bed, bring your own basin and pillows ect I get scared a lot as I keep hearing how bad the service is. there are private hospitals that costs over $200,000 or more if you deliver via c section I think that's quite a lot for just one night
