So my son usually gets sick a lot I mean he's still sick but not as bad as last week. Where I'm from it's been freezing since August!! So yes kids get sick from the weather. So my son had 2 days off last week because of holidays and he went to school Monday but not Wednesday and Thursday cause he was up throwing up and had diarrhea. This week I took him into school and his principle wanted to talk to me. So her and this guy wanted to speak to me about my child's attendance. They said he has 5 excused absences and 3 unexcused. Okay? What's the problem here ? My child goes to the doctor and he's sick they gave him days off but he was still sick want me to keep taking him to the hospital wtf. But 5 excused and 3 unexcused in 3 months. I explained myself my child was sick I mean there's excused letters and 3 were not. Kids get sick he also has asthma which I'll be making an apt for him to get a pump. I made myself clean to them he told me for him not to miss another day doesn't matter if he has a fever of 102 don't let it get to 10 days all together wtf !! Anyways I left and the next day I got a text from dcf? I pulled my car over ready to talk shit but I didn't I'm pregnant and don't want to make a huge thing into this. She wanted to meet me that day so I agreed. She met my son who is 4 with autism he can't talk so she couldn't ask him anything. But I explained myself why 8 days in 3 months kids get sick that's all. She said the report came in as low risk nothing bad or major but I'm still freaking out! I had dcf in the past because of my husband calling the police when we got into an arguement such a dumb ass! But she just asked simple questions and wanted to make sure that the absences would be resolved which wtf he didn't miss 8 days in 1 month 8 days total in 3 months but whatever lady. She checked his room and loved it also my home since it's a condo. But I still have a horrible horrible feeling about that lady. She says the case is low risk but I never trusted dcf. I didn't get an attorney because I mean I didn't do anything wrong this dude and the principle called because they didn't believe my son was sick smfh. Any advice :(
