Is it okay to wear a diva cup for your discharge?

I just saw a comment on another post saying that and I’d actually do it lol I usually get so much discharge it feels like I peed myself. Would it be harmful in any way to wear one on pretty much a daily basis?

I have been told that the discharge is supposed to exit the body to keep the bad bacteria and good bacteria all in check. That would be my only concern.

I’d love to know why people are saying it’s not ok. Curious if those saying no even use a cup for af because it’s very different to using a tampon every day... Call up a health hotline to get a professional opinion, but I don’t see a problem with it. I use mine on the ‘heavier’ cm days and cloth panty liners every other day without any issue. If I’m lazy with washing my liners then the cup gets a solid workout!
