Anxiety questions
I'll try to make this short.. Over the summer I had 2 panic attacks. I have never suffered them before in all of my life. My husband took me to the E.R. on both occasions because I literally felt like I was about to die: my heartbeat was either too fast or too slow, I felt like I was about to faint, my legs went cold and numb, I was crying uncontrollably along with my teeth chattering and my body couldn't stop shaking. I had severe separation anxiety when my husband went to pick up my prescription. They did all types of tests and nothing was abnormal, they even said I was textbook perfect. The second visit the Dr did an X-ray on my stomach and turns out I had a good six pounds of stool in it!!! I had to do an at home enema and drink magnesium citrate and it definitely cleaned me out. Fast forward to today, I started feeling the same but quickly called my husband to hear his voice and have him clam me down. What I noticed is that I feel that way when I need to poop, tmi. After I poo, my dizziness and anxiety leaves after 15 minutes. For those of you who suffer anxiety, has this ever happened to you when you need to poop? The dr told me that if I continue to have anxiety on a regular basis to make an appt with a dr and they can prescribe me some meds. I don't even take medicine for a cold or headache but I'm 100% wanting to get on anxiety medicine. I hate the feeling especially because I seem to have it when ive been alone with my five yr old daughter and she gets so worried. This is my third time after my back to back attacks over the summer so I'm not sure that it's frequent enough to get a prescription for it. Any tips on how to calm down?
