So my son is almost 2.5 and refuses to get potty trained!! What do I do?!

I'm expecting my second in January and was hoping to have home trained by then. I started and he would poop like once a day in the toilet and that too because I would run and put him on the toilet when he would show signs of pooping. Now he has stopped showing any signs and doesn't even tell me if he has pooped...really struggling here!

Moms please advise and let me know what you did with kids that were hard to potty train. I've tried to use the reward method bt he doesn't really care abt that. I'm really so tense about it :(
