Teacher Interview Advice

I have an interview on Monday for a really awesome position that’s a perfect fit for me. 7th grade English in a small, Catholic school. I’m extremely excited, but SO nervous. I just graduated in May with a degree in Middle Level Ed, specialized in English/Language Arts.

Anyhow...this is my first interview so I don’t know what to expect. The diocese secretary told me it will be very chill and easy. I met the Administrator who will be on the board of interviewers. She was fairly friendly. But...I’m still freaking out!

I was told a suit was not necessary, but is it preferred? I have a nice, knee-length, navy blue dress that has a collar and buttons down the front. Does that sound okay?

I want to take a binder with my Deans list certs, volunteer certs, and letters of recommendation. Any else I should include? Lesson plans?

Has anyone ever interviewed for a position in a Catholic school? I’m pretty nerdy about my faith, so I’m decently confident about answering questions regarding that. But still, advice is welcome!!

Just please share whatever advice you can, please and thank you!!! 💕
