hey! so i switched to a catholic high school (im not religious) for tenth grade and it hasn't been that bad but then i met this girl and she's so smart and funny and cute and we've been dating for a couple weeks. we only really told our close friends who are all chill but we don't like tone it down during lunch or anything you know? anyway i found out today that a bunch of homophobic rumours are being spread 🙄 she doesn't want to get the school involved (even though they'd try and help) and i respect that but i don't want to deal with this and it's only been a day and it's affecting out relationship. my parents are super homophobic (hers are too) and i can't ask them for help either. advice?
