When did you have sex?

I had a c section 5 weeks & 4 days ago. I know you're supposed to wait 6 weeks or until cleared by your doctor because of the risk of infection, but was just wondering if you guys think it would be harmful or a terrible idea to go ahead and have sex now.. I'm so close to 6 weeks but I haven't had sex or the drive to have sex in MONTHS and I'm dyyyyying. 😫

I waited until my 6 week check up, when I was cleared by the Dr, just to be safe. and just make sure when you do have sex again just take it slow. it can be painful/uncomfortable, you can also have trouble getting wet so buy some ky if you don't have it already

It's the fish of infection and hemorrhage. Even if you FEEL fine, that's doesn't mean you are healed internally. I would really wait until you're cleared by the doctor.

I had to wait until 8 weeks. When i went in for my 6 week pp checkup, I found out I still wasn't healed enough and had to wait 2 more weeks.

oh god, i think i was 3 week pp after my c-section 🤗 just watch out. i thought that because i had a c-section it wouldnt hurt. but my muscles were all tense from labor, sO the first few times it hurt like hell. almost like rubbing a know out of your shoulder
