Epidurals and back pain afterward??

Question

How many of you had epidurals and are having back issues after having baby??? A couple of girls on my fb are asking this question because they’ve had epidurals and are now experiencing back problems. I do not want that to happen to me!!!! So is this super common? I don’t plan on having an epidural unless I absolutely have to, but if this is the case I’m gonna do everything I can to avoid one

I haven’t had any back pain. Maybe just right after birth but everything hurt at that point lol.

After having a baby your back is all out of whack. You will have back pain from that. I’ve had two epidurals and both times the injection spot was sore for a few days but that was it. Strengthening exercises or a chiro will fix the back issues.

My sister freaked me out and said thats what happened to her. I still got the epidural with my last pregnancy and had 0 side effects. Everyone is different🤷‍♀️

I’ve had back pain since, but I was told that it’s because of all the changes my body is going through after birth. Back pain is common after apparently.

I had an epidural with my daughter and for 3 months after the election site hurt but it went away but everyone is different

I would not say I haveback problems from the epidural. But the injection site did need to heal, so I had twinges there for a few weeks.
