I need your help! I’m in the “maybe” stage of pregnancy. Hcg was 16 on Thursday. Waiting for results today.

I have always dreamed of surprising my husband with some sort of announcement. Well when I got the call on Thursday, I was sitting at my uncles funeral and it was my dads birthday (he passed 2.5 years ago). I slipped and told my husband we “could” be and they need to test again.

So....do you think It’s still possible to “surprise” him? Or should I give it up and save that dream for a future sibling (hopefully)?
