Had a C-section. I felt EVERYTHING
I was scheduled to be induced on Wednesday due to poor fetal development cause by my placenta. We tried everything to get my cervix to open, cervidil, fully bulb, hand expressing colostrum pitocin to start contractions, nothing worked for 2 days. Friday was the last chance for something to work, nothing. I was exhausted, baby was exhausted, and my lady bits, cervix, and bladder were starting to swell. Everyone decided a C-section was the best way to get him out now. I went in with the promise that if a stronger epidural didn't numb me that I would get another spinal tap. So they wheeled me into the room, gave me some more epidural stuff, and thats it. I kept telling the surgeon that I could still feel and I need more meds, they did not believe me! So basically I felt absolutely everything. I passed out a couple mins into it (could still hear and feel) and woke to my sons cries and him being placed in front of me. I was unable to keep my eyes open but I felt him and got to give him a little kiss before he got hauled off. Im pissed at the situation but I would do it a million times over🤗 Asher Zealand Krouse 11/17/2017
