I met my boyfriend 3 months ago and we both fell hard for each other.

Everything between us is perfect. We just clicked from the moment we met. He’s honestly an amazingly sweet, caring, thoughtful, perfect guy.

We both have some difficult pasts filled with death, suicides, horrible family members and terrible relationships. It’s something we can bond over that bright us close together. As weird as that sounds.

Now,we are extremely honest with each other, especially about our sexual history. Even when it’s really hard to hear.

I have had a few sexual partners and relationships. He’s had a few hundred sexual partners and a few relationships.

I know, I know...

But, because his past is so messed up AND he was in a band that got sorta big, I understood that he looked for love in all the wrong places.

Plus he’s gorgeous, so I know girls would throw themselves at him whenever they could.

So, before we had sex, I asked him if he wore condoms with all these girls or if he’s at least been tested since the last one.

He said yes to both questions. WHEW!

I was over the moon. No hesitation on his part. He said he goes to the doctor regularly and got tested after the last girl he slept with.

So I thought, sweet. We’re good to go.

The first few times we had sex, we used protection. STD’s and pregnancy are things that I don’t need in my life right now, so I wasn’t taking that risk. No glove, no love, dude.

Then, we stopped using them after 2 weeks because of a bad reaction I had to them.

But, here’s where it gets....bad.

At the beginning of the week I noticed some itching down stairs.

Great. A yeast infection.

Just what every girl wants.

Not a huge deal, right? Take some Monistat and it’ll be all good in a few days....

WRONG.

I had a fever for 3 days. Sore muscles. Wicked headache. Chills.

My vagina is on fucking fire. It’s like pissing out a million daggers.

Finally, after a week of no relief, we go to an urgent care to seek treatment.

As I’m waiting for him to pick me up, I use the restroom and find something else down there.

ONE. WHITE. BUMP.

Now, this bump looks and feels like a pimple. It’s got a huge white head and it’s tender AF.

I’m now pissed and convinced he’s been lying to me.

I call him, even though he’s already on his way. I’m yelling and telling him to drive faster.

He gets to my house, I jump in the car and we go.

I tell him about the bump and said, “if you gave me an STD, were done. And not because it’s an STD so much, but because it means you lied to me.”

We’re fine when we get to the Urgent Care.

He then realizes that he did lie to me.

He got tested in April but remembered he slept with a girl in June. He says he wore a condom and it completely slipped his mind. I asked how he could forget and he said the sex only lasted a few seconds before he went soft and couldn’t finish.

My heart stopped. He lied and now I’m questioning if he did have a condom on or not. Had I known he was sexually active after he got tested, I wouldn’t have ever put myself at risk by not using condoms with him.

Why I didn’t make him get tested like I do with everyone else? Idk.

So, I’m back to being pissed.

I got all the necessary tests done yesterday and now we have to wait until Tuesday for the results.

We tried to pretend like everything was okay last night, but it’s not.

I don’t know how I can move forward with him if he gave me an STD because he lied about sleeping with some girl in her car.

I’ve never had any sort of STD or even scares like this.

I’m honestly hoping it’s just a terrible yeast infection of some sort.

All I know is, our relationship may change when those results come in.

He’s honestly a good guy but he’s definitely not the brightest bulb in the shed. I do not feel like he lied on purpose to hide it from me because I knew all about the girl before this conversation. That was the only time they had sex and if it was short like that, I’d probably forget it too.

I would like to know if anyone has any experience with dormant STD’s showing up later? The only thing is, he has absolutely no symptoms, which I hear is kinda common.

**UPDATE**

Got the test results back and all STD tests came back negative! Turns out I just had a horrible yeast infection. I apologized to my BF and he forgave me instantly. Thanks for all the support, ladies!

Period is now 5 days lat
