When to start getting baby things? 30 weeks pregnant now

I know its based off preference but im 30 weeks now and all i have is a bassinet, three baby pjs, baby monitor, burp cloths, towels, and hats. When should I really start? Like is there a deadline ? Lol

Holy shit. I started at 14 weeks. I would be in full on anxiety mode if I waited that long. LOL. I'll be 31 weeks tomorrow.

Lol I️ don’t think there’s ever a deadline. So long as you have a car seat to take baby home from hospital, and a place for them to sleep and some clothes you’ll be good for a good week or so after birth. If you’re having a baby shower you can wait to see what people get you so you can narrow down what else you’ll need.

I just started buying stuff and I’m 31 weeks today. Literally did a grand haul for Black Friday. :D I don’t think there is a deadline..well mainly before you are 40 weeks xD

I have a need to have it all done asap or its all I think about, so for me I've had literally everything possible I could need since a few days after finding out the gender.

We have most of the stuff as my first baby is only a year old, however i started buying baby clothes even before I found out the gender, but I've been stocking up on babies clothes for the first year.

If you’re having a perfectly healthy pregnancy with no signs of preterm labor you’ve got time. I wouldn’t push it too much, start really getting things by 35-37 weeks since 37 is technically full term and you don’t want baby to show up before you’ve had time to finish everything.

Lol, I’m also 30 weeks, if we are having another girl we have everything we need from our daughter but if we have another boy we are starting all over. Our son is 11 and we gave everything to some of my moms friends. We have nothing for a boy lol. I plan on getting a few pjs and outfits for a boy and packing those along with a few girl things. We’re not finding out what we’re having so I need both lol.

I started when I got my positive. I'm still not done. It's so expensive to buy all at once, especially around the holidays. You should've started a while ago 😂🤷‍♀️
I'd start. Look on amazon for certain things. I got my nursing bras on there 3 for $20, my diaper bag was $25 and it's gorgeous and a backpack. That's also where I got my curtains for the nursery, $35 for 2 black panels. $99 jogger off of target, $65 car seat off of target.
Look for good deals around this time for clothes and diapers/wipes. I'd literally die if I hadn't bought anything at this point. Depending on how many times you get paid in these next 10 weeks plus what you have saved (if you have savings) it can be hard.
