Egg whites with no LH surge?

Question

Took an ovulation test this morning with no LH surge. I'm on CD 12, and my CM is resembling egg whites. Is this typical to have fertile CM without having an LH surge?? 
Any help would be appreciated 😊

Try testing later in the day for your LH surge. They recommend between 11am and 5pm

CM is more of a secondary Fertility sign in my opinion... I didn’t get much EW this month, it was mostly watery. Using OPKs helped a lot otherwise I’d think I was ovulating much later than I actually did.

You can start having fertile CM 3-5 days before ovulation. I always get watery CM like 5 days before ovulation and only get egg white on ovulation day.
