College long distance relationships?

Both my boyfriend and I️ are college freshman. Yes we live in same state but we live about 8 hours away. So far it’s going well and we have few fights here and there but first reaction I️ get when I️ tell people is that it won’t last... thoughts ?

It always depends on the relationship. You have to have trust and patience. It's going to suck sometimes and you can't have the same expectations that you have of a regular relationship. Neither of you can spend 24/7 online talking and schedules are going to clash and a million other things can make it harder than it already is but if it's worth it you'll know. I've spent the last two years apart from my boyfriend and we're about to live in the same city this spring! It was totally worth it for me! He's the one
