Anyone use this? Or recommend anything similar like a bimbo chair?

We got this one on our registry.  Our baby is only 2 days old so we haven’t used it yet, but we chose this one instead of the bumbo because we kept hearing the leg holes for the bumbo were small, and we were thinking our babe would have chunky thighs (which he actually has skinny little legs!). Picture because, hello, I have a 2 day old and he’s freaking adorable!

I HATED the bumbo. It sits them in a way that looked horrible. I did some research and it can be bad for development because of the way the seat forces their legs to sit. Needless to say, we got rid of it (luckily it was a hand me down). I ended up using a high chair/booster that grew with her when she was old enough to sit up and eat.

I HATED the bumbo seat. If your baby is too chunky their legs don't fit properly and if you use it without the straps being tightened they can get out of it which is so dangerous if they are up off the floor. The tray isn't always easy to get on either. I had a seat like this that I loved as it felt safer and way more convenient. The tray is also larger which makes it better than the bumbo seats small tray.

My middle sons physical therapist said Bumbo chairs are horrible for hip and spine development, and recommended the fisher price sit me up. That’s what we’ve used for our last two kids and I felt much more secure with them. The bumbo would tip and the baby always seemed to get stuck in the leg openings. The fisher price seat didn’t have either of those issues, and the toys could be attached to it so they didn’t throw them across the room.

My sister HAD to have the bumbo seat, however she has a very chunky baby, he only used it for two weeks before he was to big for it.

We have the ingenuity one and we love it. Been using it for 4 months now as her booster seat on the table and we take it with us when we go out. I also put her in it while I’m cooking to keep her confined 😅
