i have type 1 diabetes and i know when youre ttc the risks of miscarriages are higher and other problems. but would be interested to know if anyone had high bs during or at conception and how the child has been? i am not pregnant but would love to bair a child. im taking charge of my body and getting my bs low low low

I’m not a type 1 diabetic but my mom is. I know pregnancy was very hard on her blood sugar control and my brother and I immediately had to go to the NICU to get weened off insulin. She doesn’t talk about her actual experiences in pregnancy but I assume since I was a complete accident and she didn’t really want a second child that being pregnant was extremely hard. But my brother and I are both fine.
