how far along do u have to be before help is needed?

If you have a miscarriage, how many weeks do u have to be to go to the emergency room for help? i know if its early it can be passed at home without help.

I don’t know but I miscarried at 8 weeks and I passed it on my own. We went to the doctor and found out there was no heart beat. They offered to give me medicine and make it happen or I could wait and let it happen on its own. It happened a few days later on its own. In the bathroom at work, but that’s a whole other story.

Regardless you will want help at some point.  If everything baby related doesn’t come out in its own it could lead to threatening infection.  You can pass the baby at home but after 20 weeks it’s a still born baby not a miscarriage.  You’d want to get blood work done to make sure hcg keeps going down and possibly have an ultrasound to verify it is complete.  Sorry you are having to think about this...
