So before I talk to my RA about this I really want to know if I’m overreacting. My roommate sleeps all day. I’m talking till like 4 on some days but I’ve honestly never seen her up before 2. Like it’s pretty bad. And that would be fine except that when she sleeps it’s in total darkness (blackout curtains used) and she gets annoyed when I turn on my desk light starts groaning and huffing like a damn child. Now you might be like “well then just go to a different room” but I can’t because the only other private room in my suite is our common room (living room) and that’s where her boyfriend sleeps. Sprawled on one couch his stuff on the other with all the curtains drawn. So basically until the sun goes down and they wake up I live in complete darkness. I hate this because I love natural lighting also I look like an idiot all the time because I’m literally getting dressed/putting on clothes by flashlight and I have to do my make up in a tiny little mirror on my desk instead of using the big full length mirror that’s mounted to my wall. I just feel like she’s super inconsiderate because she and her boyfriend take over the entire room leaving no space for me. Am I being dumb?
