My 5 month old has been in daycare since 6 weeks old. I am DONE with daycare. My child has contracted so many illnesses and I have missed so much work. I catch everything she gets. Needless to say, she's exhausted. I'm exhausted. My employer is so annoyed at my absenteeism. And we can't afford to pay daycare and make up my income for me missing work. She has had virus after virus after virus. No exaggeration when I say she got her first virus at 8 weeks old and she has been sick CONSTANTLY since then. Soon as she is on the upswing from one illness, something gets her again. She's had multiple respiratory viruses, stomach virus, hand foot and mouth, the flu /and currently is fighting RSV. We don't know anyone we trust or who can even keep her full time so we are exploring options for childcare. Has anyone used care.com to find a nanny? Are there other sites or agencies or ways of finding a nanny? Any input is appreciated. Thank you
