Miscarriage due to low progesterone?

Miscarried on October 29th at 6 weeks pregnant. Doctor said it was from low progesterone and to wait a cycle, and then I could try again and start progesterone immediately after ovulation/a positive test. I stopped bleeding on Nov 9. How long did your period take to regulate?

I also had a MC due to low progesterone. My levels were 1.5 at 5 weeks. My doctor gave us the go ahead at start trying asap and we don’t have to wait a cycle but every doctor is different. I took a OPK yesterday and it was almost positive! It’s only been a little over a week since my MC.

My body has treated both of my miscarriages like a period, and I had a regular period 27 days after the first day I was bleeding with a miscarriage.
If you had a miscarriage due to progesterone, you should talk to your doctor or midwife about doing progesterone suppositories. I have a friend who had two miscarriages and then when she was pregnant the third time did progesterone suppositories throughout her first trimester. She now has a healthy daughter. Have already talk to my midwife about doing them if I am able to get pregnant for the third time (after two miscarriages).

Is this your first MC? I MC on 11/9 (knew it was coming, found out baby stopped developing in 10/26) and i asked my doctor about low progesterone and she said they don’t test for that unless you’ve had multiple miscarriages. I only knew to ask because a friend of mine had low progesterone and had to take suppositories the next time she got pregnant. I think I may ask for it anyway when I conceive next time... i really don’t care if it’s routine or not.
